Full Tort
Full Tort insurance allows you to maintain an unrestricted right for yourself and other members of your household to seek financial compensation for injuries caused by other drivers. Under this form of insurance, you and other household members covered under the auto policy may seek recovery for all medical and other out-of-pocket expenses and may also seek financial compensation for pain and suffering or other nonmonetary damages as a result of injuries caused by other drivers.
Limited Tort
Limited Tort insurance limits your right and the rights of members of your household to seek financial compensation for injuries caused by other drivers. Under this form of insurance, you and other household members covered under this policy may seek recovery for all medical and other out-of-pocket expenses, but not for pain and suffering or other nonmonetary damages unless the injuries suffered fall within the definition of "serious injury" as set forth in the policy, or unless one of several other exceptions noted in the policy applies.
Bodily Injury
Bodily Injury pays your legal defense costs and claims against you if your car injuries or kills someone. It also covers family members living with you and others driving with your permission.
Property Damage
Property Damage covers the portion of the liability if the insured vehicle damages someone else's property. It also provides you with legal defense if another party files a lawsuit against you.
First Party Benefits
First Party Benefits covers medical expenses resulting from an accident for you and others riding in your car. Also pays for you or your family members insured while riding in another's car or while walking.
Uninsured or Underinsured Motorist Coverage
